Night Shift Dispatcher
Location: Markham, Ontario
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Shift: Night Shift Only – 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
Compensation: $18.50 per hour

Join the Invictus Security Operations Centre (ISOC)
​
Invictus Security is seeking a reliable, organized, and professional Night Shift Dispatcher to join our growing Security Operations Centre. As the communication hub of our organization, you will play a critical role in coordinating field personnel, monitoring operations, supporting clients, and ensuring timely responses to incidents across our portfolio.
Please Note: This position is strictly for overnight shifts (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM). There are no day shifts available. Applicants must be available to work nights, including weekends and holidays as required.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch and coordinate security personnel throughout assigned shifts.

Monitor guard check-ins and maintain regular communication with field staff.

Receive and document incident reports, emergencies, and client requests.

Coordinate responses with management and emergency services when required.

Maintain accurate dispatch logs and operational records.

Monitor GPS tracking and guard activity.

Conduct guard welfare checks when necessary.

Provide professional customer service to clients and security personnel.

Escalate critical incidents in accordance with company procedures.

Qualifications
​

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.

Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, email, security management systems and web-based applications.

Previous dispatch, security, customer service, call centre, or emergency communications experience is considered an asset.

Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
